Dr. Atanes Atanesyan was born in Yerevan, Armenia and raised in Glendale, California. He is a United States Air Force Veteran. After the military, he received his Bachelor of Science degree as a cum laude graduate in Neuroscience and Physiology with a minor in History from the University of California San Diego. After obtaining his undergraduate degree, he attended Western University of Health Sciences College of Optometry, where he earned his doctorate degree with honors in 2017.
His clinical experience includes externships at the WesternU Eye Clinic; Focal Point Optometry with Dr. Alvin Arellano; Attentive Eye Care with Dr. Khanh Tran, and the ChapCare Clinic in Pasadena.
Dr. Atanesyan has received numerous awards including a recognition by California Senator Ed Hernandez for his service as a USAF Veteran; along with multiple honors awards as a student. He also proudly received multiple medals during his time in the military.
Dr. Atanesyan lives with his wife in Glendale, CA. He enjoys reading, playing sports and spending time with family.
