Dr. Mary Eskandarian was born and raised in Burbank, California. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Southern California, graduating with honors. She then pursued her Doctor of Optometry degree at Western University of Health Sciences, College of Optometry, where she graduated at the top of her class in 2023 and consistently earned Dean’s List distinction throughout the program.
During her time at Western University, Dr. Eskandarian was involved in peer tutoring and served as a board member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society.
Dr. Eskandarian’s clinical training includes externships at the Veterans Administration in Walla Walla, Washington; LoBue Laser and Eye Medical Center in Murrieta, California; ChapCare (Community Health Alliance of Pasadena); and California Eye Specialists in Glendale, California.
Following graduation, she completed a residency in Primary Care Optometry and Low Vision at the Las Vegas Veterans Administration Medical Center, where she gained advanced training in comprehensive eye care and low vision rehabilitation.
During her free time, Dr. Eskandarian enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, staying active, traveling, and exploring new coffee shops.
