Dr. Tatevik Mananian was born in Yerevan, Armenia, and raised in Glendale, California. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from California State University Northridge. Prior to pursuing her doctorate, she gained experience as a technician in various optometry and ophthalmology settings. She went on to attend Western University of Health Sciences, College of Optometry, where she obtained her doctorate degree in optometry in 2019.
During her training, Dr. Mananian completed externships at several locations across Southern California, including ChapCare, Dougherty Laser Vision, East Valley Eye Center, and California Eye Specialists. She also actively participated in community health events in Los Angeles, providing eye care to underserved populations.
Dr. Mananian’s clinical experience extends across various practice settings, with a keen interest in primary eye care, contact lenses, pediatrics, ocular disease management including glaucoma, and surgery co-management.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Dr. Mananian enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and friends. She has a passion for outdoor activities, exploring nature, and discovering new restaurants.
