Dr. Atanesyan is a United States Air Force Veteran. After the military, he received his Bachelor of Science degree as a cum laude graduate in Neuroscience and Physiology with a minor in History from the University of California San Diego. After obtaining his undergraduate degree, he attended Western University of Health Sciences College of Optometry, where he earned his doctorate degree with honors in 2017. Dr. Atanesyan has received numerous awards including a recognition by California Senator Ed Hernandez for his service as a USAF Veteran; along with multiple honors awards as a student. He also proudly received multiple medals during his service in the military.
